NOVEMBER β Kindness and Gratitude
This Monthβs Focus
Kindness and gratitude help children develop positive relationships and appreciate the people and experiences in their lives.
Try It at Home
Share one thing your family is grateful for each day.
Encourage your child to thank someone.
Complete one kind act for someone else.
Notice and praise acts of kindness.
Ask Your Child
βWhat are you thankful for?β
βHow did someone show you kindness?β
βWhat is one kind thing you can do tomorrow?β
Family Reminder:
Small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
π π¨ BIRTHDAY TREATS & SNACKS POLICY π§πͺ
We ask that parents do not send in birthday treats for students to distribute. Please read below, as taken from the 2026-2027 District 104 Handbook:
Treats & Snacks [K-5] 1.80 Due to health concerns and scheduling, no birthday treats are allowed. Treats will be limited to certain school-wide celebrations.
DRESS FOR THE WEATHER
The fall weather is here! Students will continue going out for recess every day. Please make sure that your child wears appropriate sweater/jacket to school.
