Hutchinson Herald
Weekly Bulletin 10/5 to 10/9
OUR MISSION is to cultivate a positive community of engaged critical thinkers.
OUR VISION is for all students to access high quality curriculum, engaging instructional activities, and a supportive learning environment,
WE ARE COMMITTED to closing the gap for our students who are below grade level while still ensuring that every student makes continuous growth each year.
Students this week were working on their benchmark assessments in English, Math, and Science. For 8th grade students and parents/guardians we went into our 8th grade classes and reviewed Promotion Criteria Contracts. Your student should have brought home the promotion criteria contract for your review and signature. Please make sure that all of the contracts are turned in by Friday October 9, 2026 to your students homeroom teacher.
I want to continue to invite and encourage all parents/guardians to become actively involved at Hutchinson Middle School. Opportunities include joining parent organizations such as the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) @hutchfriends on Instagram, School Site Council (SSC), and the English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC), as well as attending school events throughout the year. Please visit our school website https://hutchinson.nlmusd.org/ and follow us on social media

Thank you in advance for your support and cooperation.
