Words of Windom June 26
Notes From The Office
Happy June Everyone!
As we close the chapter on another incredible school year, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our students, families, staff, and community for making Windom such a special place to learn and grow.
This year was filled with memorable moments, academic achievements, artistic performances, athletic accomplishments, celebrations, and countless acts of kindness. None of it would be possible without the support, partnership, and dedication of our families and staff. My first year as principal will go down as a very memorable one in the books and I couldn't be more grateful to be a part of this wonderful school community.
To our students, thank you for bringing your curiosity, enthusiasm, and energy to school each day. We are so proud of all you have accomplished and the growth you have shown throughout the year. To our families, thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and collaboration. Your partnership plays an essential role in the success of our school community. I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to our incredible teachers, support staff, and aides. Thank you for the care, patience, energy, and heart you bring to Windom each day. The relationships you build and the impact you make on our students are truly immeasurable.
As summer begins, I hope everyone has the opportunity to relax, recharge, spend time with loved ones, and create lasting memories. We look forward to welcoming our returning students back in the fall and meeting the newest members of the Windom family.
Thank you for a wonderful school year. Have a safe, happy, and well-deserved summer!
Warmest Regards,
Mrs. Glowacki
May Recap
🎨Art Show/Ice Cream Social🎨
Our annual Art Show and Ice Cream Social was another tremendous success, thanks to the incredible partnership between Ms. Pawarski and our PTO! The event showcased the creativity and talent of our students while bringing families together to celebrate the arts. From the beautifully displayed artwork to the sweet treats and welcoming atmosphere, every detail reflected the hard work and dedication of so many people. We are grateful to Ms. Pawarski for inspiring our young artists and to our PTO for their continued support in creating memorable experiences for our school community.
🏈Buffalo Bills Community Takeover Event🏈
Students and staff were treated to an unforgettable surprise when the Buffalo Bills Community Takeover team visited our school! The excitement was contagious as students participated in special activities, met members of the Bills organization, and celebrated the spirit of teamwork, community, and school pride. It was a once in a lifetime experience that brought smiles, energy, and plenty of memories that our students will be talking about for years to come.
🎤Kindergarten Song Fest🎤
Our annual Kindergarten Song Fest was a wonderful celebration of music, learning, and the incredible growth of our youngest students. The kindergarteners did an outstanding job sharing their songs and enthusiasm with a packed audience of family and friends. Thank you to all of the families who attended and helped make the event so special. Your support and encouragement mean so much to our students, and we are grateful for the opportunity to create these lasting memories together.
🐐Mr. Morton🐐
PreK and Kindergarten students were excited to welcome Mr. Morton and his petting zoo for their final visit of the school year! This tradition gives students a unique opportunity to interact with a variety of animals while learning about their care, habitats, and characteristics. The hands on experience sparked curiosity, laughter, and plenty of memorable moments.
🎓Senior Walk🎓
One of Windom’s most cherished traditions took place this month as we welcomed back graduating seniors for our annual Senior Walk. Dressed in their caps and gowns, former Windom students walked the halls where their educational journeys began while current students and staff lined the halls to cheer them on. The event was a powerful reminder of how quickly time passes and the lasting impact of a supportive school community. We wish all of our graduating seniors the very best as they take the next steps toward their bright futures.

We are so excited for our upcoming Field Day! We were truly overwhelmed by the incredible support from our families again this year! If you indicated interest in volunteering or being a homeroom helper, emails have already been sent out from Mrs. Glowacki. If you did not receive one, you are welcome to join us as a spectator on the front lawn during your child’s designated Field Day time (see schedule below).
Important:
👉 Please have your child wear their PTO sponsored Windom T-shirt!
👉 Please carpool if you are able, parking will be limited this year.
👉 Please send your child in with a complete change of clothes and a towel to dry off with.
👉 Sunscreen should be applied at home.
👉 Please don't forget to send your child in with a water bottle.
👉 After your child completes their three front lawn stations, we kindly ask that all spectators exit the premises to ensure there is space for other families to watch their children’s sessions.
✨ More information for homeroom helpers and station volunteers will be sent out next week.
