Message from Mrs. Thomas
Homecoming 2026
This past week was a week filled with lots of excitement, school spirit and a time to celebrate tradition. I want to acknowledge and thank the many people that made the events of this past week possible for our students and community. This year our Student Council, under the direction of Mrs. Prisha Bailey, planned spirit days and activities that had our students feeling nostalgic and revisiting their lives in 2016! Students were encouraged to Keep Calm and Trojan On!
Special thanks to our Class Advisors [Mr. & Mrs. Pape, Deputy Birdwell & Ms. Kosarue, Officer Rincon, and Ms. Tenhove & Ms. Tripp] for encouraging students to participate and for making sure they had what they needed to have a fun and memorable week! A special shout out to the families who opened they barns to allow our students to build their homecoming floats - Thank you Tanner, Birdwell, Hulshof, and Carpenter Families!
Go Trojans 💙💛💙💛

MHS Volleyball Cancer Awareness Game
Dear Madison Community,
Whether you were at the Cancer Awareness volleyball game on Tuesday, purchased a shirt, sent a prayer or a positive vibe in my direction, or are just learning of my cancer diagnosis, the demonstration of love and support have been such a blessing to my family and I as we navigate this season of life. The exceptional kindness and empathy that I have received from students, staff, and families within this district have continued to lift my spirits when facing difficult days and moments. I can't express enough how beautiful it is to have young people coming up to simply ask how I feel - a demonstration of compassion and love that we sometimes don't acknowledge in our younger generations. That's the type of culture that we're continuing to seek to build within this community. Thank you for your support, the character that you build in your children to be empathetic and kind to one another, and the family that I have as a part of the Madison School District. You have truly helped me feel the motto that no one fights alone.
Warm regards,
Mr. Vogel
