Looking for a fun way to get active this spring?

Our community partners at the Northern Vermont Youth Lacrosse League shared that our local Phantoms teams are currently low on numbers, and they’d love to welcome more Maple Run students to join!

No experience is necessary, just a willingness to try something new, be part of a team, and have some fun. Lacrosse is a great way for students to build confidence, stay active, and connect with others across our community.

Opportunities like this help bring our community together, supporting teamwork, friendships, and positive experiences for our student-athletes both on and off the field.

If your child might be interested, please reach out to Morgan Kane at St Albans City School with any questions: mkane@maplerun.org

Let’s help our Phantoms grow this season!

SATEC Drama SATEC Drama

We are coming down to the line! The final weeks of a drama production are called tech week, and it s when we really staple everything together. As such, it is vital that we have everyone to make sure all the costumes work well, people know what they are doing on stage with props and set pieces, and all the tech works as intended.

Here is the calendar for the final few weeks.

If it hasn't been mentioned by the students, we are off script starting this coming Monday. This can cause stress for students, especially ones who haven't had drama in the past. The more you go over their scripts and songs with them the more comfortable they will feel. It is important that while being off script is the goal, we know there will be times students will need reminders for their lines, and shouldn't be a anxiety point. We will be there feeding lines when needed at the start.

We are looking forward to this show being one of our best yet! The kids are sounding awesome!

Let us know if you have any questions!

SATEC Baseball Information SATEC Baseball Information

Hello Baseball Families,

Welcome to the 2026 SATEC Baseball season! We are excited to announce that SATEC will serve as the hub for all Maple Run baseball this year. We are also thrilled to be fielding both a 7th Grade and an 8th Grade team for the season.

Meet the Coaches:

  • 7th Grade Team: Roy Sargent

  • 8th Grade Team: Frank Wagner

Pitcher & Catcher Skill Sessions

To start things off, we are offering two evening sessions this week specifically for players interested in pitching or catching:

  • Wednesday, March 25: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Friday, March 27: 6:15 PM – 7:45 PM

Full Team Practices

Regular practices for all players will officially begin on Tuesday, March 31st.

You can find the full schedule for the first two weeks here: Schedule Link. Since these practices will be held indoors, I will be monitoring the weather closely and will update the plan as the long-term forecast evolves.

Game Schedule & Logistics

  • Game Dates: I expect to have a tentative game schedule ready by Friday, April 3rd. Some neighboring schools are currently finalizing their rosters (combining teams, etc.), which may slightly shift our existing plans.

  • Gym Access: Please enter through the side gym entrance, as the front and back school doors will be locked.

  • Parking: Families should park in the back lot; players can then use the sidewalk to reach the side entrance.

  • Gear: Please ensure players bring a pair of indoor-only shoes to wear in the gym.

Moving forward, keep an eye out for a weekly email from me containing the latest practice and game updates.

Thank you for your support of our student-athletes and the baseball program. We're looking forward to a great season!

Best regards,
