Week 6: Walk and Bike to School Safety
"Heads Up, Helmets On" As we approach Walk & Bike to School Day (October), this is a great time to review safe commuting habits. Bikers should always wear helmets and use hand signals, while walkers should stay on sidewalks and cross only at crosswalks. Reinforce staying alert—no texting or wearing headphones while crossing streets.
