Arts Under the Stars

VUSD is proud to celebrate our visual and performing arts through two upcoming community events that we call Arts Under the Stars. The first event features over 40 performing arts acts from schools across the district in a three-day event held at Moonlight Amphitheatre on April 9th-11th. Shows start at 6:00 pm with gates opening at 5:15 pm for each performance. Our second community event features the visual arts and kicks off with an Opening Reception and Student Awards on Wednesday, April 17th, from 4:30-6:30 pm at the Vista Civic Center. The art show will run April 17th through May 8th.

Bike Education

Our school district is taking steps to ensure students stay safe while riding to school. Now, students (along with a parent or guardian) need to join either a virtual or in-person education session for one hour. We've already had two family bike education nights this year, and there's one more coming up on April 24th at Vista Innovation Center. We know it might be difficult to make it to an in-person session, so we've also set up two virtual sessions. You can find flyers for the sessions linked here and the current protocol sheet for riding to school is linked here as well as on our website. Be sure to check it out for more details!

CTE Showcase

Families & Students: You are invited to help Vista Unified School District celebrate Career Technical Education (CTE) Month. We will gather at The Film Hub on 2/29/24 from 6- 8pm to see and experience the great work our students have created. Don't miss the FREE Event!

STEM FEST

STEM Fest is on Wednesday, March 27th from 5:30-7:00 pm at VIDA (Gym). If you signed up for the Humpty Dumpty Challenge, you should have received an email this week with more information. Below are the flyers, if you have any questions please reach out to your child’s school site.
