🎄HAPPY HOLIDAYS 🕎
As the calendar year draws to a close, I want to extend my warmest wishes to all members of the RFH school community for a happy and restful holiday season. This time of year offers a wonderful opportunity to pause, reflect, and celebrate the accomplishments of our students and the hard work of our dedicated staff. It's also a chance to spend quality time with loved ones, recharge, and look forward to the new year. Thank you for your continued partnership and support of RFH. 💻 Creating a Culture of AI Inquiry 🤖
As you may be aware, RFH recently launched an AI Think Tank, a multidisciplinary group of teachers, administrators, and staff dedicated to examining, piloting, and fostering learning around AI use in the classroom. One of the primary goals of this committee is to support a culture of AI inquiry; an environment where students and staff actively and continuously question how AI can be applied, its potential impacts, and its ethical implications, fostering innovation and responsible use. This involves leaders setting a vision for AI, educating staff, encouraging experimentation and learning from failures, and promoting self-reflection on AI's role to ensure it aligns with human values and leads to positive outcomes rather than just replacing tasks. 📚 RFH Seals of Achievement 🏆
We are excited to announce that beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, RFH students will have the opportunity to earn Seals of Achievement for their pursuit of additional learning opportunities outside of course graduation coursework in the areas of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and SHAPE (Social Sciences, Humanities, and the Arts for People and the Economy). A STEM or SHAPE seal ia a credential on a student's RFH transcript that demonstrates to colleges and/or employers advanced achievement and dedication in specific fields and/or areas of study. More information will be shared in January HERE with the release of the 2026-2027 RFH Program of Studies.
👮 Law Enforcement Collaboration 🤝
The safety and security of our students and staff remain our highest priority. A secure learning environment is foundational to educational excellence, allowing our students to focus on their growth. We recognize that maintaining this standard requires unwavering vigilance and a strong partnership with our community. We extend our deepest gratitude to both the Rumson and Fair Haven Police Departments for their continued collaboration, guidance, and readiness to serve. Both departments were on site last month to discuss school safety and security with our team to ensure RFH is a safe haven where every student can thrive.
