Dear HPS Families,

Spring is in the Air! It is always a thrilling time when warmer weather arrives. We are so looking forward to a change in temperatures as well as seeing more of the S-U-N!

The month of May we celebrate our amazing teachers, staff, and school nurses. Their dedication every year is undeniable, and they all deserve to be “celebrated” daily. Please make sure to take the time out to send them a message of gratitude; this will absolutely bring a smile to their faces!

To our Parents/Guardians: Thank you for getting your kids to school ready to learn each day. Thanks for helping them, cheering for them, and working with us. It is so important that we work together to provide the best education we can. Thanks for all your help.

To our Students: Thanks for coming ready and giving it your all. Thanks for working hard and having fun. Thanks for learning and making friends. Thanks for showing great integrity and representing HPS so well this year!

To our HPS Team: Thanks for working so hard for our students. Thanks for championing for them like they were your own. Thanks for wanting them to walk away each day with something new. Thanks for taking chances, being open, and learning right along with kids. Thanks for not only teaching, but also planning, cleaning, feeding, organizing, and taking care of whatever needs they brought.

To our HPS Retirees: Thanks for all the years of hard work. Thanks for sharing your experiences and knowledge.

As we approach the summer break in June, we encourage everyone to take this time to relax, recharge, and enjoy special moments with loved ones. May your time be filled with joy, laughter, and the making of wonderful memories. As we look ahead to the next school year, let us return with renewed energy and enthusiasm, ready to embrace new challenges and opportunities. The end of a school year is always bittersweet. It usually is so busy and goes so fast that we forget to enjoy it. We are giving you a month plus some of notice to cherish what 2025-2026 has shared with us.

Attendance Reminder as We Near the End of the School Year

As we approach the final weeks of the school year, we want to emphasize the continued importance of regular attendance. While excitement for summer break is building, every instructional day still matters. Consistent attendance helps students finish strong, complete end of year projects and assessments, and reinforce the skills they have worked hard to develop throughout the year.
