The Joanne Kerekes Student Art Gallery was held on Wednesday, April 22, at South Brunswick High School, and it was a joyful celebration of student creativity.

This special district tradition was a great success, bringing together families, staff, and community members for an evening of pride and inspiration. The gallery showcased the talent, imagination, and hard work of student artists across all grade levels, with a wide range of amazing artwork on display.

Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and attended, and for continuing to support the arts in our schools.

On Tuesday, April 28, the South Brunswick School District’s Parent Academy proudly partnered with the South Brunswick Municipal Alliance to offer valuable resources for families. We were honored to host a powerful session led by former DEA agent Doug Collier.

Thank you to all the families, staff, and community members who joined us for this special evening. It was an engaging and informative event, filled with meaningful conversations and a shared commitment to supporting the well-being and success of our students.

Earlier this year, we distributed the Annual Assessment Notification about standardized testing. It included testing windows, but it was too early to share specific dates. We are now able to share the following with families: current NJSLA-A/NJSLA-S Parent Resources, and the SBSD spring 2026 NJSLA-A/NJSLA-S Calendar and unit times for each South Brunswick School. Your child's school will share additional information with you if needed.

On March 19, 2026, the SBSD Board of Education unveiled the Tentative 2026–2027 Budget, setting the stage for an exciting year ahead for our schools!

South Brunswick Summer Camps 2026

We’re excited to announce that South Brunswick Summer Camps 2026 are just around the corner!

Our camps offer a variety of engaging programs designed for different age groups and interests giving every child the opportunity to explore, grow, and have an unforgettable summer experience.

This year’s senior class has over 650 students and your help is needed. The success of this

program is based on major fundraising efforts. SBHS Project Graduation is asking for

your support and a donation (monetary or merchandise) for our Tricky Tray event which

will be held on Saturday May 9th, 2026.

While our policy (5111) does not accommodate anticipated residency, we recognize that some families will have a date in the future when they plan to relocate to South Brunswick. Completing this South Brunswick Anticipated Residency form allows us to plan for your family and monitor your progress towards permanent residency in South Brunswick. Please complete one form per child in your family.
