Stallions Families:

• NO SCHOOL on Friday, October 14th.
• We are taking candy donations to support Springdale Halloween Fest and Springdale Police Department. The grade level that donates the most candy (by weight) will receive an extra 30 minutes of recess with Mrs. Simco and Mrs. Barron. We will be taking donations until October 21st.

Book Character Day will take place on Monday, October 31st. This is the day for students to dress up as their favorite book character. This should not be an added expense, keep it simple and visit with your child about their hobbies, book interests and dress up clothes. For example: A Junie B. Boss of Lunch could be an apron and an item from the kitchen. A sports themed book would be an easy costume. Keep the focus on reading and book characters! Please do not send your child in scary Halloween costumes.

This is also the day we have our annual parade through the school and neighborhood. Our building level parade will begin at approximately 8:30 a.m. and conclude with the parade through the neighborhood (weather permitting).

Parents: Please join us in the cafeteria at 8:30 a.m. and will conclude with the parade around the neighborhood at 9:30 a.m. Just a reminder: You will need to check in at the office to receive your visitor badge, please bring your Driver's License with you to obtain your visitor badge. We will be having Free Popcorn and Sprite for all students to celebrate Book Character Day!
