Peek at Our Week November 2

November 1, 2026

Dear PK8 Families,

What a wonderful time everyone had during Halloween! The students looked spectacular in their costumes for the classroom parties and had a fantastic time at the dance. Thank you to all the parents who helped make the events so special by organizing activities and bringing food.

Remember there is no school tomorrow, November 2, for teacher inservice.

The Great Rake

This Friday is the Great Rake at the town park. Our classes are ready to pitch in, but we need extra rakes to get the job done. Please help us by sending lawn rakes labeled with your family name. Rakes can be picked up in front of the school on Friday afternoon.

Student Pick-Up and Drop-Off Safety Reminder

Please remember the following expectations:

• Drive slowly and follow posted signs.

• Bus lanes are for buses only before 8:30 a.m. and after 2:30 p.m.

• Use designated pick-up areas only.

• Use the crosswalk or cross with staff assistance (look for Dr. Savory). Please do not walk between parked or idling cars.

• If you have suggestions for making pick-up and drop-off smoother or safer, please join our next PPO meeting.

Keeping students safe is a shared responsibility. Thank you for following these guidelines and helping us maintain a safe environment for all students, families, and staff.
