Meet our newly hired Grade 7 Homeroom Teacher, Christopher O'Connor!

Facilities Team Shout out

We wanted to give a BIG shoutout to our facilities team that has been working so hard here at our school all summer long! They have been cleaning, painting, moving furniture, and so much more to prepare each classroom and the school as a whole for the start of the year in September. Their work here at the school goes far beyond what meets the eye. They are constantly doing everything they can behind the scenes, such as installing flooring, staining doors, and cleaning classrooms to ensure that the school has everything we need, and they go above and beyond to support the admin team and students. We are so grateful to have the most wonderful facilities team here at St. Mary’s, and we could not get our school prepared for the upcoming academic year without all of their hard work and support!

Early Childhood Education Update

Summer is in full swing, and our Infant, Toddler, and Pre-K programs are diving into seasonal fun and learning! This month, we’re exploring what summer brings from sunny days and family trips to the beach, to discovering the wonders of the ocean. Through sensory water play, children are learning about water, waves, and the fascinating world beneath the sea.

We’re learning about sea exploration and what transportation is used in the sea, for example boats and ferries. Students are also learning about sea animals such as fish, and the unique sounds they make. With songs, stories, hands-on activities, and water exploration, our young learners are soaking up knowledge while having a splash-tastic time!
