This month, our Pre-K students will be learning all about buildings! Together we will explore how buildings can vary in size, color, structure, and characteristics. Through stories, block play, and creative activities, children will discover what makes each building unique.
Ideas for Families at Home:

Neighborhood Walk: Take a walk together and point out different buildings. Notice their shapes, colors, and sizes.

Build Together: Use blocks, recycled boxes, or pillows to create your own buildings at home.

Draw & Design: Encourage your child to draw a house or building and describe what makes it special.

Talk About Homes: Share with your child what makes your home unique and special to your family.

Durante este mes, los niños de Pre-K estarán aprendiendo sobre los edificios. Juntos exploraremos cómo los edificios pueden variar en tamaño, color, estructura y características. A través de cuentos, juegos de construcción y actividades creativas, los niños descubrirán qué hace único a cada edificio.
Ideas para las Familias en Casa:

Caminata por el Barrio: Salgan a caminar y observen los diferentes edificios. Noten sus formas, colores y tamaños.

Construyan Juntos: Usen bloques, cajas recicladas o almohadas para crear edificios en casa.

Dibujar y Diseñar: Motive a su hijo a dibujar una casa o edificio y describir qué lo hace especial.

Hablar sobre el Hogar: Comparta con su hijo qué hace especial a su casa y a su familia.
Monday- Lending Library activity due by Wednesday
Wednesday- Fun activity due by Monday
Friday- One student will be taking home the class teddy bear
Lunes- Actividad de lectura enviar los miércoles
Miércoles: Actividad divertida enviar los lunes
Viernes: Un niño(a) se llevará a casa el osito de peluche de la clase.
Orange Day - Dia del color Naranja
Bring something color orange or wear something orange!!
Traer algo naranja o Vestirse con algo Naranja!!
*Please speak to your child about following classroom rules.
*Please practice with your child how to put on and take off his/ her sweaters.
*If your child comes to school wearing rain or snow boots, please send regular school shoes in his/her book bag.
*Please make sure to send an extra uniform and a folder in your child’s bag.
*Our students must wear MNM shirts and follow the dress code color: dark blue or black pants and blue,black, or white velcro sneakers.
*Visit the library and spend quality time reading to your child.
* Por favor recuerdele a su niño(a) seguir las reglas del salón.
* Practique con su niño(a) cómo ponerse y quitarse el buso y chaqueta.
* No olvide que si su niño(a) llega a la escuela con botas de lluvia o nieve, debe traer los tenis de la escuela en el maletin.
* Por favor asegúrese de enviar un uniforme extra y la carpeta en el maletin de su niño(a).
* Nuestros niños deben utilizar el uniforme de MNM y seguir el código de vestuario: pantalón negro o azul oscuro y tenis
con cierre de “velcro.”
* Visite la biblioteca con su niño(a) y comparta tiempo de calidad con el/ella leyéndole.
