A Message from the 8th Grade Assistant Principal
Hello MJHS students and families!
The school year is moving quickly and we are in the busiest part of the school year. As we enter March, we on the admin team hope that every student continues to work hard so they feel prepared for the PSSAs and Keystones coming up in April! During the year, we observed so much strong teaching and learning; we know that our students are capable of showing fantastic growth. We hope that every family encourages them to show everything they have learned so far this school year. Most importantly, we ask that every family continues to encourage their child to strive for the best in their time at school each day.
Also in March, students are preparing for many Spring activities including the Spring Sports season, End of Year Concert, end of year incentives, DEAN'S List, etc. At MJHS, we highly encourage students to get involved in an activity or club and even though we are reaching the end of the year, there are still some options. We hope that March can be the strong start to for our MJHS students to get ready for spring seasons, end of year performances, and club meetings!

A Message from the School Nurse
March 2026
Muhlenberg Junior High School
As spring approaches, we’re seeing warmer weather, more outdoor activities, and the start of
allergy season. Staying healthy helps to stay focused and ready to learn. Things to keep in mind:
Spring Allergies
Seasonal allergies are common this time of year. Symptoms may include sneezing, congestion,
itchy/watery eyes, headaches, and sore throat.
If your child requires allergy medication during the school day:
Medication must be in the original labeled container.
Required forms must be completed and on file with the health office.
Please remind students not to share medications.
Illness Reminder
To help prevent the spread of illness:
Keep your child home for a fever of 100.4°F or higher.
Students must be fever-free for 24 hours (without medication) before returning.
Encourage frequent handwashing.
When to Contact the School Nurse
Please notify the health office if:
Your child has a new diagnosis.
There are changes in medications.
Medication is needed at school.
You have questions about immunizations or health requirements.
Thank you for helping us protect the well-being of all students. If you have concerns or need guidance, feel free to
reach out to the school nurse anytime.
