Riverside Roadrunners

It is hard to believe we only have one quarter of our school year left. We are so very proud of the accomplishments and growth that our Roadrunners have had thus far. Quarter 4 is always a busy quarter with our ILEARN Summative Assessment (grades 3rd - 5th) and many end of the year activities. Please stay up to date through our social media pages and check out all of the fun we have each day!

Congratulations to the following students. They were chosen to represent RES as their class Student of the Month for March; Cooperation. These students display cooperation throughout the day. The following students will represent Riverside in the annual GCCS Academic Team Competition May 13th, 5:30 @ JHS.

Our 2025 season is underway. Our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students have begun practicing for the upcoming Regional Meet, April 24th 5:00 @JHS. The students that qualify will then compete in the GCCS Final Meet April 29th 5:00 @CHS.

Practices are Monday & Tuesday 3rd grade - Wednesday & Thursday 4th /5th grade.

The show will be open for viewing April 10th-19th with the reception on the night of Friday, April 11th, 5:00-7:00. The art will be displayed at the NOCO Arts and Cultural District.

1. No birthday invitations are allowed to be distributed at school. Also if you would like to celebrate a birthday you can send in a healthy treat or items for the class. We ask that you please contact the teacher prior to sending treats. We have included a list of healthy snack ideas.

2. Attendance: to avoid unexcused absences please be sure to call the office to report your studnet absence. 812-288-4868

3. Transportation Changes: if your student has a change in transportation please call the office prior to 2:00. It is extremely difficult to change transportation late in the afternoon. If we do not hear from a parent/guardian students will be go home on their 'normal' form of transportation.
