Principal's Weekly Update

Dear Wildcat Families,

This last week of October is filled with events! Please see below for important updates on recent and upcoming events!

PE Locker Update

PE teachers have checked out PE lockers to students. We will be selling combination locks for $5 (cash only) on campus during PE class on Wednesday for students who still need a lock. Students can also alternatively buy/bring their own lock for their locker.

PE uniforms are now available for purchase at our school store:

PE shirt (gray) long sleeve available as well
PE shorts (black)
PE sweats (black)

🚨The grand opening sale has been extended until 10/28, save 25% with code SPIRIT303.🚨

Students can also alternatively use/wear a plain gray shirt/sweatshirt and/or plain black shorts/sweatpants. NO logos permitted.

The PE department will begin requiring that students change into uniforms in January upon our return from winter break.

BGW School Calendar

ROAR Assembly #1

We held our first set of grade level ROAR assemblies for this year on Wednesday. Students were recognized for showing respect during this first quarter, fall sports participants were celebrated and we gave reminders about conduct expectations based on current trends. See below for the conduct reminders administration focused on:

Post-it Trend

Unfortunately, we are seeing a rise in paper airplanes made out of post-its with a sharp tip being thrown into classroom ceilings. Please know that if your child is caught doing so, they will be assigned campus beautification.

PBIS Event

On Wednesday after school, our volleyball team will face off against our staff team. Students have the opportunity to watch this match-up by using 20 PBIS points to enter. This is one of the many positive incentive initiatives we host as part of our PBIS program to encourage students to exhibit our school values. This is a student only event, and will go until 3:30pm.

Math Tutoring

BGW holds math tutoring sessions every week. See this month's schedule below:
