Milwood Elementary Weekly Update

Thank you to our PTSO, families and the community for your support of our staff during Parent Teacher Conferences last week! We received donations of lunch, dinner and lots of snacks and drinks. We felt the love during our long days and nights.

* Mon-Wed. 11/10-11/12: Fifth Graders at Sherman Lake Camp

*Fri. 11/14: NO SCHOOL

*Tues. 11/18: Third and Fourth Graders to Comstock Auditorium

*Fri. 11/21: School Dance @ 5:30-7:00pm

*Fri. 11/21: Kid Clothing Free Sale @ 5:30 in the Art Room (during the dance)

*Wed.-Fri. 11/26-28: Thanksgiving Break (NO SCHOOL)

Please make sure that your student brings their winter weather gear each day. Students go outside for recess every day when possible. We have two full carts of Lost and Found clothing in our lobby; if you are missing clothing at home, please encourage your student to check the lost and found.

Tickets are $5 in advance or $6 at the door. All attendees must have a ticket.

Concessions are available for $1- $2.

We hope to see all of our Milwood Panther Families there!

The Milwood PTSO is sponsoring our Annual Food Drive again this November. Non-Perishable Food Donations for Loaves and Fishes can be dropped off in Main Office the week of November 17. The attached flyer has donation suggestions for each day.

Please check the best by dates on the containers to make sure the food items aren't expired.

The Milwood PTSO is sponsoring a Kid Clothing Free Sale on Friday 11/21 from 5:30-7:00 during the dance.

How it Works: Drop off your clean, gently used kid clothing to the Main Office during the week. On Friday night tables will be set up in Art Room and families are welcome to "shop" for what you need. This is not a fundraiser; just Milwood Families sharing with each other. All remaining items will be donated to Communities in Schools. See the Milwood PTSO Facebook page for more information.
