Texas Roadhouse Gift Card Fundraiser Update for 2025
Eagle Families- we wanted to let you know that we will not be having a Texas Roadhouse GC Fundraiser this year. We have participated in this fundraiser for several years over the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. We wanted to share this with our families so that they had ample time to plan in the event that they need to secure alternative gifts this year. We have had great success with this fundraiser in the past and truly appreciate your support! Unfortunately, the benefit and profit that schools earn from this fundraiser has decreased more and more each year. We will take this year off and hope to bring you a new fundraising opportunity in the future!

School Visitors and Volunteers
The safety of our students and staff is our upmost priority. Our entrance doors remain locked at all times. Therefore, visitors must use our intercom system to be buzzed in the front doors. Entering the doors behind another visitor (piggybacking) is strictly prohibited. If you are entering the building for ANY reason, you are required to check in at the office and receive a visitor's badge.
If you or an adult family member would like to volunteer for field trips and school events. You need to complete a background check by September 13th. Please stop by the elementary office to complete the form.
Birthday Treat Reminders
If a parent wishes to send treats to school for his/her child’s birthday celebration, that parent must notify the child’s teacher at least one week in advance. ALL food items must be store-bought and include a list of ingredients due to numerous food allergies.
Counseling Corner
Hello Eagle Families!
This week, we finished up our first lesson on the Eagle Pledge component: BEST EFFORT. Students discussed what it means to give their best effort- what is looks like, what it sounds like, what it feels like. They also dug a little deeper and learned about how that differs throughout our school day: at recess, during independent work time, with friendships, during academic time, etc. One of the biggest parts of this topic is ensuring that students recognize it's each person's PERSONAL BEST EFFORT. Being aware of their own strengths, weaknesses, and personal goals will be a focus over the next couple of weeks!
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your child's counselor!

This also means that any student in grades 5-8 who are participating in wrestling MUST have a physical on file with the school as well as adding wrestling as a sport via FinalForms. The link to sign up for FinalForms is below:
