CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Senior Matthew Spratlin earned his Python Certified Associate Level Programmer certification. This certification is the next step above the entry-level certification and demonstrates mastery of skills and concepts needed for more complex tasks in the workplace.
Viktor Gustafsson and Sebastian Payne have earned their Python Certified Entry Level Programmer Certifications. The certification demonstrates they have the skills and knowledge equivalent for professionals beginning their careers.
Six Monarch High School students competed this past weekend at the Colorado School of Mines High School Programming Competition where they solved a series of competitive programming challenges under timed pressure. Competing were Sathya Balamurugan, Avaneesh Gajula, Viktor Gustafsson, Jacob Kogler, Seth Hays, and Ben Scott. The team of Balamurugan, Gustafsson, Hays, and Scott took fourth place in the advanced teams category while also receiving recognition for solving three of the challenges first.

Hello MoHi Juniors and Parents!
It was great to see so many of you at our Junior Journey night presentation. We wanted to share our presentation slides with you. It is also posted on our counseling website, mohicounseling.com. The presentation outlines important information to know as a Junior going into your last year of high school.
We also want to encourage 11th grade students to sign up for a junior meeting with their counselor. Counselors will go over everything you need to know to get out of high school and reach your post-secondary goals. Parents are welcome to join as well. You can sign up by clicking on your counselor's name on the mohicounseling.com homepage and choosing a block of time.
If you have further questions please reach out to your counselor.
Thank you,
