Advisory at MWC! Advisory at MWC!

Advisory is a mentoring program to increase student engagement at Maria Weston Chapman. Each Advisory group consists of a teacher/staff member and 8-12 students that will meet during Roar Block (Tuesdays 8:30-8:55). Advisors facilitate conversations and discussions on a variety of topics. The aim is to connect students on a deeper level with adults in the building with the goal of building our community. Research shows that when students have meaningful relationships with adults at school they are more likely to succeed socially, emotionally, and academically.

Mr. Amoroso and Mr. Materna with their advisory group in Town Square
