ACT Workshop

See below for information regarding an ACT Workshop. It takes place during the school day. Students must register online at Doorway to College. Early registration fee is $99 before 10/8/24. After 10/8/24, the fee is $110.

PSAT/NMSQT

This is NOT a mandatory test but a test for those juniors interested in eligibility of the National Merit Scholarship. The PSAT is the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test. It measures verbal and math reasoning abilities important for doing college work and helps students improve their test-taking strategies before taking the SAT. This test is used to determine eligibility for the National Merit Scholarship program. You MUST sign up in the counseling office to take this test. Cost for the PSAT is $18.00 (checks made payable to BHS) and must be paid when signing up. The test will take place during the school day on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 and will last for approximately 2 ½ hours. There will be a sign up sheet in the counseling office with a deadline of Monday, September 16th. If you have any questions, please let me know or visit National Merit on the College Board website.
