Peterborough Elementary School

Dear PES Families,

What a wonderful week we’ve had here at Peterborough Elementary!

Today, I had the chance to join a couple of our kindergarten classes for their "P" is for Popsicle Day—a perfect treat for a Friday! Our first graders also did an amazing job during our all-school meeting, competing in a lively round of "Are You Smarter Than a First Grader?" The fourth graders took a trip to visit South Meadow School to see what life will be like as fifth graders next year. Additionally, some students enjoyed a field trip to the Friendly Farm, while others learned about honeycombs (complete with a taste-test!).

Next week is our big Field Day, and Mrs. Morris is looking for volunteers to help make the day a success for the kids. If you have some time to lend a hand, please check out the sign-up link below. We would love to have you join us!

Field Day Volunteer Sign Up

Field Day! June 12, 2026

Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. You will have five rotations, one from every grade level. They will be at your station a total of fifteen minutes, before moving onto the next station. Field Day Volunteers arrive at 8:45 am in the Gym. First Station starts at 9:15 am and last station ends at 11:30 am. Volunteers will be provided with over-view of station with description and rules prior to the day of event. If you cannot find a slot you are more than welcome to come and participate with your child. Thank you! Mrs. Morris
