Paulding Family Connection
Volume 4, August 2026
Quick Highlights
A Community United
๐We have so much to celebrate!
Paulding County really embraced the community in July and into August. Summer fun was easy with so many opportunities for free movies, concerts, food trucks, car shows, art classes, and library services. Thank you to every collaborative member that shared these events with their families and to each of the organizations that provided safe, fun, free time.
It's also refreshing to see the tangible needs met by the many back to school supply events, the summer lunch profgams and food drives, as well as the clothing, shoes, haircuts, and health fairs that are always offered to those in need of support.
๐ Community Spotlight Agency
Paulding Family Connection Collaborative
This month, we spotlight every collaborative partner that helped collect donations, volunteered time, and participated as a vendor to make another successful backpack event for the community.
The students and families are grateful for all the hard work and I know the teachers were grateful for each student that came prepared on the first day with the much needed materials to start the year strong!
Honorable mention goes to :
All vendors https://www.facebook.com/share/p/195uo2sXT7/
The many volunteers https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1GeiYDPCZ7/
and the generous donations from the community and our valued partners https://www.facebook.com/share/p/19AjJsRDUV/
๐ซ What's Happening
Paulding Family Connection Updates
Paulding Family Connection continues to evolve and grow as the community changes each year.
Not only are we a recognized 501(c)(3) resource for the community, we also contrbute to regional efforts through our partnership with Resilient Georgia. Paulding County is actively engaged in Building A Region Of Resilience (BRR) in Northwest Georgia. This is a 13 county effort to bring poverty and trauma awareness to the community and the organizations that serve our families. More information about this partnership can be found here: https://www.resilientnwga.org/home_1
We continue to strengthen families with our collaborative focus on stability and wellness. Just a few of those efforts are highlighted in this graphic and more resources can be found on our wesite and Facebook page linked at the bottom of this newsletter.
