At Crissman, we believe our differences make us stronger. ❤️ This month, we are proud to celebrate both Italian American Heritage Month and Filipino American History Month, honoring the rich traditions, histories, and contributions that help shape our community. By learning from one another and embracing what makes each of us unique, we create a school where everyone belongs.

Mission Decode is an interactive adventure tailored for 2nd through 5th graders. Students will act as young investigators—cracking codes, solving riddles, and discovering the fascinating history and mechanics behind past robots!

Along with riddle-solving, students will get hands-on experience with a fun design and problem-solving challenge, and every student will receive a special goodie bag at the end of the event! Parents will also receive information on how to get students involved in local junior high, elementary, and high school robotics teams, including Project FIRST First—a program dedicated to bringing robotics into elementary schools.

A huge thank you to all the families and students who supported the Double Dare Dash this year! We raised over $29,000 to support this academic year filled with PTA events, programs, funding, and more! As we close out the fundraiser, check back next week on who won all the raffle prizes. Our online pumpkin carving/painting contest is going on now! Submit a pic of your pumpkin, and note your student's name/grade/teacher to enter! Voting will take place 10/27-10/31!

We are asking for your support to help keep our students safe.

All visitors to the classroom areas of our school are now being asked to swipe their driver’s license or government issued ID before entering the main part of our building. This swipe will quickly provide an updated check against national sex offender registries. This process is for anyone who is going past our school office for any reason.

If you are planning to volunteer in our classrooms or work directly with a student, you will need to have a volunteer background form on file. The background check involves multiple state and federal law enforcement data bases. Please click below to complete the form.

✈️ Planning a Vacation? Families may request up to 10 days of pre-approved vacation time by emailing the school office at officecrissman@uticak12.org. Anything beyond 10 days will be marked as unexcused, and students may be dropped from enrollment if more than 10 unexcused days occur.

💳 Fines & Fees – Any school-related fees (such as lost books or materials) can be viewed and paid online through the web version of PowerSchool.
