Our relationship with our mother often shapes how we experience closeness, love, safety, and what we believe is possible for us in life. When something in that early relationship was missing or difficult, it can affect how we relate to others and how we move through the world. In this circle, we will explore what happens when a child’s natural reaching toward their mother was interrupted, and how that may still live in us today. Through family constellations work, we create space to gently shift from a child position into an adult one. This can support a deeper sense of safety and make it easier to reach toward life, relationships, and the people we meet now.

This men’s circle @glowhousedc is part of an ongoing project to provide more conscious community space and personal development opportunities for men in the DMV area.
The focus of this circle will be on embodiment, sharing and witnessing.are looking for supportive brotherhood, this circle is for you! Beginning with embodiment and breath, we will open a space for you to share what is alive for you, make requests for group support, and witness others.
Men’s circles are a great place to:
- Practice clear, authentic communication;
- Identify self-limiting beliefs or patterns of behavior;
- Better understand your own needs;
- Seek support and accountability;
- Form new friendships and deepen existing relationships.
- Men’s circles provide a way for men to come together to form mutually supportive bonds that center on the values of authenticity and presence, rather than on competition and achievement.
GUIDELINES:
1. Please arrive between 7-7:30pm. The circle will begin promptly at 7:30 and will run for approximately 1.5 hours.
2. All sharing in the circle is voluntary and confidential.
3. There is a cat that lives in the house. They may come into the room where circling is done, if you are allergic.
