A kind note, a small token of appreciation, or simply a few words of thanks can make a big difference in showing how much they are valued. Together, let’s make this week truly special for the educators who help our scholars R.I.S.E. each and every day.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership!

Mental Health Awareness Week
May 4, 2025 - May 10, 2025
Take a look at events curated for families and kid for Children's Mental Health Awarenss Week 2025
Children's Mental Health Awareness Week is observed from May 4 to May 10, 2025. This week aims to raise awareness about the importance of children's mental health and provide resources for parents, caregivers, and the community.
As the founder of The Aura House and Black Boys Meditate—but most importantly, as a mom—I felt deeply called to create intentional space for the youth in my community during Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week. Our kids are navigating so much, and it’s vital that they feel seen, supported, and emotionally equipped.

Additional Reminder (Message from Counselor Chism from CAMS)
If you haven't already, please ensure that you have registered your scholar in Cedar Hill ISD.
Please note that if you do not register your scholar in Cedar Hill ISD prior to July 7th, this could cause a delay in your scholar receiving a Collegiate Academy schedule.
As we all prepare for summer break, we want our new families to be aware of our Summer Bridge event scheduled for Friday, July 25th from 8 AM - 2 PM. (Please see attached flyer).
We require every new student to attend the summer bridge to learn the "collegiate middle and high school way" as well as take a tour of the campus. If there is a scheduling conflict, please contact me and the building principal, Mr. John Edmun, john.edmun@chisd.net, by Wednesday, June 25th.
