October's Message
Dear Tiger Families,
Thank you for your continued support and for helping us have a great first six weeks of school! During these first weeks, our teachers have prioritized establishing safe and welcoming learning environments where our students can thrive and grow both academically and socially.
Our Beginning-of-the-Year (BOY) assessments are now complete, and teachers have used the results to establish academic goals for each student. Our goal is to help every child achieve at least one year of academic growth in math, reading/writing, and science. Teachers are now ready to share these goals with you during Parent-Teacher Conferences and discuss ways you can support your child’s learning at home. Please be on the lookout for a message from your child’s teacher and make every effort to schedule a conference. Remember, children learn best when families and schools work together toward the same goal!
October will also bring many opportunities for our families to connect with our school. We look forward to celebrating National Walk to School Day, Trunk or Treat/Reading Night, and our Book Character Parade. We will also continue our Brighter Bites distributions, English and nutrition classes, and designated parent lunch days. We hope to see many of our Tiger families participating in these activities!
Finally, we have some great attendance news! We ended the first six weeks with an overall attendance rate of 97.50%, exceeding our campus goal of 97%! Thank you for making attendance a priority. As we begin the second six weeks, let’s keep the momentum going by ensuring our Tigers are at school and on time every day. When students miss school, they miss valuable instruction and opportunities to learn and grow. Every day matters!
Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment to our students. Together, we can make the second six weeks even stronger than the first.
Yes, we can and we will continue growing together!
Respectfully,
Mr. Rico and the Admin Team
Respetuosamente,
Sr. Rico y el Equipo Administrativo

If you don't have your car tag, we will ask you to provide an ID. If you need more car tags, come in person to request in in the front office.
