Good afternoon GMSS families,

We have had a long week of cold days!! It was wonderful to be back in the building for at least 2 days.

Our 8th Grade Sport's Night and White Out against MSW has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 29, from 4:00-7:00. The game starts at 5:00 p.m.

Tickets to get into the game are discounted to $2.00. There will be pizza, drinks, and concessions for students to buy with cash. There will not be another permission slip, but make sure your child has transportation home!

Parent/Teacher conferences for this round are Wednesday, February 12th. This round is by invitation only. After all invites are responded to, we will open any slots available. Invites are being sent by Monday.

Yearbook sales: Yearbooks will be on sale from Jan 24 - Feb 28. Price: $28.00.

As the weather changes and the days get colder, we do have resources for our families in need of winter essentials. Please reach out to your counselor for further information.

Current 7th grade students were sent google surveys to choose a Foreign Language selection for 8th grade. Information will be shared with families and students again.

Current 6th grade students will have information presented in ELA classrooms to choose an appropriate ELA selection for 7th grade.
