Parents,

Each month I will be teaching a character trait in each classroom that will focus and align with the state of Indiana's employability skills.

During the month of October in my counseling lessons, I’ll be teaching students how to become confident problem solvers. We’ll practice steps like identifying the problem, thinking of safe solutions, weighing our choices, and making positive decisions. These skills help students not only handle conflicts with friends but also build independence, resilience, and confidence. I encourage you to ask your child about the strategies we’re learning and how they can use them both at school and at home!
