We strive to celebrate the diversity represented in our school and value what each student brings to Cole Manor each day from their unique backgrounds and experiences. This creates a rich, welcoming and vibrant learning community.

A Message from Dr. Poncheri

Dear Families,

As we approach the holiday season, we are excited to share highlights from our school and updates for the month of December! It has been a busy and productive fall, and our students have accomplished so much. Our students have been engaged in exciting literacy and math activities across all grade levels. Our school library continues to be a hub of learning. Students have been preparing for Reading Olympics, explored diverse and inclusive literature, and enjoyed creative reading challenges.

Healthy Times Newspaper: Students in our school publication program are working on a special edition in celebration of the program’s 20-year anniversary. Their dedication and creativity are inspiring!

Holiday Celebrations: Classrooms will be celebrating the season with winter-themed activities and projects.

Winter Break begins December 23. Students return to school on January 5.
Please ensure students dress warmly for outdoor recess as the weather gets colder.

Looking Ahead
We are looking forward to the new year and continuing to foster a love of learning, literacy, and creativity across our school.

Mrs. Kim's Class celebrating the End of Module 1 from Wit & Wisdom

End of module celebration, working with the “schwa” sound, tie dye day, and dress like a teacher!

2025-2026 STUDENT ADVISORY COUNCIL - STUDENT VOICES MATTER!

The Cole manor Falcon (soon to be named by our students) will be flying around from class to class with books to read, activities to be done and an overall message about literacy at Cole Manor! Check out where he has been and his next reading adventure in next month's newsletter!

Secure Vestibule

Our secure vestibule is now fully functional. As shared in last month's news visitors will now enter at the side entrance. This will ensure student flow is not impacted as visitors enter our building. We are excited to have this additional safety feature as we continue to focus on safety first for our students, staff and families. Thank you for your cooperation in making this adjustment during visits!
