Administration Message
Dear Families,
This week, our learning connected deeply to both faith and culture in meaningful ways. As we reflected on the Gospel from John 20:19–31, students explored how Jesus brings peace to His disciples in a time of fear and uncertainty, reminding them, and us, that we are sent to share that same peace with others. The story of Thomas also helped students understand that questioning can be part of faith, and that belief can grow even when we do not have all the answers.
This message was beautifully complemented by a visit from Knowledge Keeper Eva Stang, who taught students about the practice of smudging and its significance. Students learned how smudging is used for cleansing, grounding, and creating a sense of peace, helping individuals prepare their hearts and minds in a respectful and intentional way.
Together, these experiences helped students see connections between the call of Jesus to receive peace and share it with others, and Indigenous teachings of mindfulness, respect, and spiritual awareness. Through both, students are developing a deeper understanding of how faith and culture can guide us in living with compassion, openness, and respect for all.
Blessings,
Mrs. Morgan and Mrs. Johnson

3. Parents/Visitors
- In the interest of the safety and respect for all our students and staff, ALL PARENTS/VISITORS MUST report to the office upon arrival at our building.
- We realize that sometimes student lunches and school materials get forgotten at home and need to be dropped off at school, therefore we kindly ask that parents complete these drop-offs at the office, or check in for further instructions. For the safety of our school, we do not want visitors or parents wandering around without our consent or knowledge. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
- If you have any concerns, or need to speak with a staff member or administration, please call the office ahead of time to make an appointment. Thank-you for your understanding and cooperation in this regard.
