Here We Go, Redwings!

There is something special about the beginning of a new school year, the excitement, the fresh start, and all of the possibilities that come with welcoming our students back through the doors of Eminence R-1!

As summer comes to a close, our classrooms are being prepared, our staff is returning, and we are counting down the days until our hallways are once again filled with students. We have so much to look forward to this fall, from learning and growing in the classroom to athletics, activites, traditions, and all of the moments in between that make a school year memorable.

To our parents and families, thank you for trusting us with your children and for being such an important part of our Redwings team. A successful school year is truly a partnership, and we are grateful for the support, encouragement, and involvement you provide throughout the year.

We hope you enjoy these final days of summer and ready for an exciting year ahead. We cannot wait to see our students on the first day of school, Monday, August 24th.

The countdown is on, Redwings Nation. It's almost GO TIME!

One Team. One Mission. United for Student Success.

What an incredible afternoon at the 2026 Redwings Rally! We were thrilled to welcome over 200 students, families, community organizations, and friends to campus as we celebrated the beginning of another school year together.

From free food and treats to haircuts, community resources, activities, giveaways, and plenty of fun, the Rally was a wonderful opportunity for our families to connect with the many people and organizations that support our students throughout the year. Most importantly, it gave us another chance to see just how special the Eminence community truly is.

The success of this event would not have been possible without the tremendous support we received from our local businesses, sponsors, vendors, community organizations, staff members, Redwings Rally Committee, and district volunteers. Whether you donated financially, provided a service, hosted a booth, volunteered your time, helped behind the scenes, or simply came out and enjoyed the afternoon with us, THANK YOU!

The support for this year's Rally was overwhelming, and we are incredibly grateful to live and work in a community that continues to show up for our kids.

The Redwings Rally may have officially wrapped up, but the excitement is just beginning. We are ready to welcome our students back and kick off another amazing year at Eminence R-1!

One Team. One Mission. United for Student Success.

988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline Information

Governor Mike Parson announced that the Missouri 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline has launched a new website: www.missouri988.org. The site provides information for anyone who may be experiencing a mental health, suicide, or substance use crisis.

The newly designated 988 phone number went live nationwide on July 16, 2022. Since that time, it has routed thousands of individuals to local, trained crisis specialists at Missouri’s 988 centers. The 988 crisis line connects anyone experiencing a mental health, suicide, or substance use crisis to compassionate, accessible care and support, available 24/7. Support is free and confidential.
