Artificial Intelligence Is All Around Us. So This District Designed Its Own AI Curriculum

Artificial Intelligence Is All Around Us. So This District Designed Its Own AI Curriculum

The description of "artificial intelligence in high school" may conjure up a science fiction novel where robots stand around chatting at their lockers. The reality, at Seckinger High School in Gwinnett County, Ga., looks more like this: A social studies teacher pauses a lesson on the spread of cholera in the 19th century to discuss how data scientists use AI tools today to track diseases.

NEW! Football Rituals

We continue to build new rituals each day at SKG! We have three rituals for football games that we want to share.

1. Jag Prowl - Football players will walk through the stadium prior to kick-off. Please cheer (ROAR) and take pictures from your seats and keep the middle of the stadium clear to allow them to pass. Think Dog Walk in Athens or The Hill at Clemson!

2. Alma Mater Played by Band After the Game - Football players will join the Band in singing the Alma Mater from the field in front of the student section.

3. Post-Game Team Meeting on the Field - Players' families are encouraged to join players during a post-game team meeting. Families should circle the players around the Jag head on the 50-yard line. To enter the field, use the family field entrance on the diagram below. The visiting team will be exiting the gate near the field house.
