We are excited to offer our students a Personalized Learning Period (PLP) next week. We will follow a block schedule on Wednesday, September 7, and Thursday, September 8, and the Personalized Learning Period will take place at the end of the day on Thursday. During this period students will participate in advisement lessons and will have an opportunity for enrichment and remediation. Progress reports will be sent home during classes on Wednesday or Thursday. PLP is the PURR-fect time for Jaguars to get caught up if needed!

The Free and Reduced Price Application for SY22-23 is currently available. A new application must be submitted each school year since the previous year's application will not work. The online application is available in English and Spanish. It's a very quick and easy process.

Gwinnett County Public Schools offers healthy meals every school day. Breakfast costs $1.50; lunch costs $2.25 for elementary and $2.50 at middle and high schools. Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced-price meals. The reduced price is $.30 for breakfast and $.40 for lunch. Kennesaw State University will be on campus Tuesday, September 6. Please be sure to visit the University representative during your lunch.

• Due to end-of-the-day procedures and traffic patterns, there will be no check-outs after 1:30 PM each day.
• All excused absences notes will need to be written and signed by a parent/guardian or a medical/dental excuse and delivered to the Attendance Office.
• We are not able to accommodate phone check-outs for safety and security purposes.

• All elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by an adult at all sporting events.
