Summer Work
We hope you are enjoying the summer and all that comes with the warmer weather and longer days! Here at HCS, we are preparing for a wonderful year of learning and growth. One consistent message I have heard from staff members during recent conversations is how much they enjoy working with your children. I am excited to begin building strong relationships with your children and families.

Kindergarten Orientation
Students (and parents) entering Kindergarten in the fall should join myself and Kindergarten staff for an orientation to learn about the year ahead and take a quick bus ride.

Other Important August Dates
- Week of August 6--Students will receive a letter in the mail with teacher assignments
- Wednesday, August 30--First day of school for K-5 students
- Wednesday, August 30--Pre-K Open House for the afternoon session, 1:00-2:00
- Thursday, August 31--Pre-K Open House for the morning session, 9:00-10:00
Parent Drop-off & Parent Pick-up Update
Due to the construction on Main Street, we are working closely with the Hubbardston Police Department to potentially change the Parent Drop Off/Pick Up location and routines. We are hoping that any student who is able to take the bus to/from school will choose to do so. Specific information about Parent Drop-off and Parent Pick-up will be coming later this month.
