Attention 2nd Grade Families,

Our second graders will participate in CogAT testing on Wednesday, October 14th, and Thursday, October 15th.

Please make every effort to have your child at school on time, well-rested, and ready to do their best! A good night's sleep and a healthy breakfast will help set them up for success.

A letter was sent last week to families and is also linked below.

Thank you for your support!

Safe Choices Start with Conversations! Safe Choices Start with Conversations!

Fentanyl Poisoning Awareness poster titled “Safe Choices: Curiosity Opens the Conversation.” The poster asks, “What should we do before taking any medicine?” and encourages families to “Ask. Listen. Plan together.” An illustration shows two adults and two children sitting around a table having a conversation. Conroe ISD School Counseling logo appears at the bottom.

This week is Fentanyl Poisoning Awareness week, and we encourage our families to take time to have age-appropriate conversations about medication safety. Remind your children that they should never take medicine without permission from a trusted adult and that it is always okay to ask questions. Together, we can help our students make safe, healthy choices!

Ask. Listen. Plan Together.
