Bayport E-news

Students will arrive in the bus area near Door 11E at 7:35 a.m. and head to the buses for departure at 2:15 p.m. each day.

Adults will supervise and support students as they arrive and depart on the buses.

Breakfast will be served in our school starting at 7:20 a.m. each day, and students who plan to eat breakfast at school will enter through this door.

Families in Adventure Club will also use this door to sign students in and out each day.

If you are parking in this area, please note that buses begin parking in their lanes by 7:30 a.m., and that they will be in place for pick-up by 2:10 p.m. Please avoid parking in this area during bus arrival and dismissal.

Please travel slowly through the carpool while being mindful of our safety patrol students and the adult supervisors in the area.

Parents must remain in the vehicle at all times while children exit and enter their vehicle. Carpool area helpers will be ready to support students so parents can stay seated safely behind the wheel.

Children should enter and exit cars on the school side of the vehicle, directly onto the sidewalk.

Please display a "Carpool Pick Up" sign in the school side window during afternoon pick-up. This will help our staff to efficiently locate students in the carpool area and direct them to their cars. Teachers and our front office have additional copies of the carpool signs available for you.

Students are expected to exit carpool vehicles no earlier than 7:35 a.m. Please do not drop your child off early and leave the carpool area. Adult supervision is not in place until 7:35 a.m.

Students will not exit the building until 2:15 p.m. Thank you for your patience and cooperation at the end of the school day as we connect students with families in the carpool area. Your carpool signs make it much easier for us to connect you with your child, so be sure to have it displayed in your window.

If your child walks home from school, they will meet with an adult in the building before exiting for dismissal. Walkers will be escorted to the trail intersection on the east side of school where they can proceed to sidewalks to Bayport or the trail that leads to Inspiration.
