There are so many ways our students and staff are showing appreciation for our school community this season. Our hallways are overflowing with heartfelt examples, each one sincere and meaningful. The creativity on display is truly inspiring!

From the beautifully decorated turkeys created by our kindergarteners to the cleverly disguised turkeys designed by our second graders, the artwork is both endearing and highly imaginative. Our first graders filled their turkeys with all the things in their lives they are grateful for, and our third graders shared thoughtful reflections about what gives them an "attitude of gratitude." Each contribution, no matter the grade level or style, adds to the warmth and joy in our school.

When we pause to reflect on all that we are grateful for at Gold Rush, the list is abundant. We are thankful for our hardworking, focused students; our amazing families who support learning at school and at home; and our talented staff whose dedication and expertise lead to student growth and achievement every day.

Thank you for being an essential part of our incredible community and for helping make Gold Rush the special place it is. We wish you wonderful and safe adventures over Thanksgiving Break!

We are so thankful to have come together as a school community to support the Parker Task Force. Together, our students and families donated 10,459 items to help local families in need. Your generosity truly reflects the caring spirit of Gold Rush.

Congratulations to our winning classes—Mrs. Spondand Mrs. Wright! Students in these classrooms are especially excited for their stuffed animals to enjoy a special sleepover in the library as a reward for their amazing efforts.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who participated. A special thank-you goes to our librarian, Mrs. Golish, for facilitating the drive and to GRE’s Student Council for helping promote it.

Together, we made a meaningful difference for those in need in Parker. Thank you for your kindness and support!

A SUCCESSFUL FALL BOOK FAIR A SUCCESSFUL FALL BOOK FAIR

Our Fall Book Fair was a tremendous success! Students were thrilled to shop for new titles and revisit favorite stories. The fair was wonderfully well attended, and we are proud to send students off to break with exciting reading materials!

As with every book fair, the school will receive a portion of the profits to support our own school library. We are incredibly grateful for our librarian, Mrs. Golish, and the many parent volunteers who helped make this cherished fall tradition possible. Their hard work and enthusiasm created a welcoming, exciting experience for all of our young readers.

Thank you for supporting a love of reading at Gold Rush!

To help us plan for the 2026–2027 school year and maintain small class sizes, we ask that all families complete this Intent to Return Survey as soon as possible. Knowing your plans helps us determine the grade levels where we can welcome new students.

PARTNERING WITH LEGEND TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE PARTNERING WITH LEGEND TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Gold Rush is proud to share that we have the first Young Rotarian’s Club in the world! Our students are already making a meaningful impact in the community through leadership and service.

The Young Rotarians are currently partnering with Legend High School’s Student Government to collect socks, winter gear and hygine items for those in need. From December 1–5, students are encouraged to bring in new pairs of socks of all sizes, hygine items or winter gear.

All donations are greatly appreciated and will help keep community members warm this winter. Thank you for supporting our students as they learn the importance of service and compassion!
