A Message From The Superintendent

Our “WHY”

Mission: Providing every student with a future ready education

Vision: Preparing every student to achieve their passion and purpose

Dear School Community,

The 2026–2027 school year is off to a terrific start in Spring Hill ISD! It has been wonderful to see our students back on campus, classrooms filled with learning, and Panther activities underway across the district. Thank you to our students, families, and staff for helping make the first few weeks of school such a positive beginning to the year.

We also have an exciting achievement to celebrate as a Panther community—Spring Hill ISD earned Straight A’s in the 2026 Accountability Ratings! The District and all four campuses—Spring Hill Primary, Intermediate, Junior High, and High School—each earned an A rating.

This outstanding accomplishment reflects the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers, staff, and administrators, and the support and partnership of our families. Strong instruction, high expectations, meaningful relationships, and a commitment to meeting the needs of every student continue to produce exceptional academic growth and achievement across our district.

We are extremely proud of the A ratings, but even more importantly, we are proud of what they represent—students learning, growing, and achieving at high levels. This success belongs to our entire Panther community, and we are grateful to everyone who contributes to making Spring Hill ISD a great place for students to learn and succeed.

Congratulations, Panthers! Straight A’s and a fantastic start have set the stage for an awesome 2026–2027 school year!

With much gratitude,

Penny Fleet

Always Panther Proud!

Spring Hill ISD Weather Monitoring System

Spring Hill ISD installed a Perry Weather monitoring and warning system earlier this year. This on-site weather station provides real-time data on local weather conditions and alerts staff to potential weather-related risks.

“This technology enhances safety measures for outdoor activities, ensures timely and informed decision-making, and integrates with our existing safety protocols,” said SHISD Director of School Safety David Lynch.

The weather station provides on-site Wet-Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) and Heat Index monitoring and will alert our staff when heat policies are exceeded. The weather station is also equipped with a siren, strobe lights, and speakers. It is set up to give an audible and visual alert when there is a lightning strike within 10 miles of the campus.

  • When lightning is detected there is a 10 second siren and the strobe light on the weather station will start to blink.
  • UIL rules require all outdoor sports activity be paused until the area is lightning free for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes with no lightning activity, the all clear signal will go off with 3 short sirens.

“Outdoor athletic activities are often impacted by the weather, specifically lightning and heat stress,” Spring Hill Athletic Director Brandon Joslin said. “This system helps to ensure the safety and well-being of our student-athletes and community.”
