Titan Talk

Your Front-Row Seat to Fall and Winter Fun
HELLO TITAN FAMILIES,
As we move into the heart of fall and look ahead to winter concerts, our buildings are filling with music, performances and the kind of joyful noise that makes this season special in Lorain City Schools. We know many parents and caregivers can't always make it to every performance due to work schedules, transportation and family obligations. That's why we work hard to bring the moments to you.
If you haven't checked it out yet, Lorain Schools TV20 on YouTube is becoming the place to be. In just the past few weeks, we've uploaded:
- Stevan Dohanos Elementary School's fourth-graders showing off their piano skills
- Washington Elementary School's third-grade fall concert
- Frank Jacinto Elementary School's third-graders singing their hearts out
- Southview Middle School's fall concert
As concerts and holiday programs pop up on the calendar, you can count on TV20 to help bring those moments to you — whether you're watching from the living room, at work on your lunch break or sharing with family far away.
TV20 is also where you'll find:
• Titan News, Lorain High's morning announcements, produced by students
• Our Titan Talk and Titan 2 Titan podcasts
• Sports coverage and athlete spotlights
If you love seeing our Titans do what they do best, subscribe on YouTube. It's the easiest way to make sure you never miss a performance, a highlight, or a proud moment.
A Dance Master Class to Remember
Our YouTube channel has something truly special this week. Emmy Award–winning choreographer and proud Cleveland native Dianne McIntyre spent nearly two hours in the Lorain High dance studio leading a master class for our students, joined by professional dancer Kamryn Vaulx.
Students stretched, sweated, laughed and learned from two artists who have built careers on creativity, hard work, and heart. McIntyre shared stories from her own childhood in Cleveland, while Vaulx talked about life as a working dancer in New York City. Their message to our Titans was simple: there is space in the world for your art.
You can watch the full story — and see our students in action — now on Lorain Schools TV20. It's one of those moments that reminds you just how much talent lives in our district. READ MORE.

Winter Break Food Support: Quick Family Survey
Lorain City Schools is partnering with Aramark to explore food distribution for LCS families over winter break. Before plans move forward, we're asking parents and caregivers to take a brief survey to help us determine interest and plan accordingly.
The survey is anonymous and takes less than two minutes. Your feedback helps us support Titan families during the break.
