Before and After School
What's Happening This Week:
The students in Before and After School have been keeping busy with lots of fun activities!
Arts and crafts, blocks, puzzles, and Magna-Tiles have all been big hits—especially on those days when we enjoy some good old-fashioned indoor fun.
Outdoor play has been a bit more challenging at times, particularly when it comes to being kind and respectful to our peers.
We are always working on the importance of respect, inclusivity, safety, and empathy. These values guide everything we do, such as:
Walking safely in the hallway
Holding the door for the next person
Using indoor voices
Sharing materials and taking turns
Waiting patiently to speak
Thinking about how others feel while working and playing
Smiling and greeting others
Using kind words and offering praise
Saying “please” and “thank you”
Keeping hands to ourselves
Respecting personal space
Washing hands and keeping our work areas neat and clean
We will continue to reinforce these expectations each day.
Outdoor Play
After School will be going outside daily at 4:30 PM, weather permitting.
We will stay indoors if it is raining or below 20°F
March can be unpredictable — warm, cold, or very wet! Please help your child come prepared for changing weather.
Summer Fun Program 2026
Summer Fun Program 2026
Our Summer Fun Program will run for 7 weeks at Clough School, start date depending on the last day of school.
With the three snow days, the last day of school is now Wednesday, June 17th, therefore, camp is scheduled to begin on Thursday, June 18th
📌 Applications are available on the school website under Parent Information → Childcare
The program is open to all students entering K–5, which means that all current 4th graders are welcome to spend one final summer with us before heading off to middle school!
Students do not need to be enrolled in the Mendon-Upton Regional School District to attend. Please spread the word to family and friends!
We’re excited for another summer packed with special activities during our themed weeks and plenty of fun with friends.
