BLECC Food Drive - November 6-20
Last year, our students were able to send home a large Thanksgiving meal basket with 25 BLECC families. This year, we are asking for your help again to make this a successful event for our students right here on our campus.
Each class has an assigned item to bring. Use the attached list to see what is assigned to your child's class, and please send that item if you are able.
At the end of the drive, the class that brings in the most items from each class will win a class celebration party!
Thank you for your participation in helping our BlueJays!
November 14 - Coffee with the Counselor
We had a great turn out at November's Coffee with the Counselor. Thank you to all those that came and spent the morning with us.

Did You Know?
To help us keep our school day running smoothly, please remember:
Dismissal is from 2:50 - 3:15
What to do If Your Child is Absent
Regular, punctual, daily attendance is required of all our students.
We do understand that sometimes our students are sick and need to stay home.
If a student has diarrhea , is vomiting, or running a fever, they need to stay home. Student's must be fever free without medication for 24 hours before returning to school.
When your child is out, email our Attendance Clerk, Mrs. Alma, at alma.carrizales@cvisd.org
Anytime your student is out for a doctor's appointment or therapy, a note from the doctor or therapist is required. Otherwise, a parent note is needed the day the student returns.
Make sure the note includes your child“s name, teacher“s name, date of absence and reason for absence. A student will not be counted absent if he or she leaves school or is late to school and a note from a doctor or therapist is provided for that day.
