Dear Families,
Although it was a short week, much has happened around here! I am sure you have already heard about our new playground equipment being installed! It is super exciting to be able to finally get this done. However, we are still at least a week away from being able to use it due to needing some finishing work. So, we are learning about the virtue of patience! Once the border and the mulch are in, Father McMorrow will come to bless the equipment so that we start playing! I am including pictures below.
Also, just as a reminder, today was the last day for students to wear shorts. The weather next week seems like it will be significantly cooler, so layers are needed. The building cools off, and it can make classrooms chilly. We have a boiler system for heating the building so it will not be turned on for a while yet. Once that goes on, we do not have a good way to regulate the temperature, so we try to wait until it is necessary. If your child does not have an Aquin branded sweatshirt, they can wear a plain navy one as part of the uniform.
