RE-ENROLLING FOR THE 26-27 SCHOOL YEAR RE-ENROLLING FOR THE 26-27 SCHOOL YEAR

This year, it takes two on-line steps to re-enroll in HomeBRIDGE.

1) Completing the Brightways Application (Link)

2) Completing the Juneau School District on-line re-enrollment.

If this is not completed, guardians will receive another email after this notification. The subject of the email is:

"Accessing HomeBRIDGE's Online Parent Portal"
If you have started the re-enrollment process you will receive an email requesting completion. The subject of that email is:
"Enrollment Checklist Reminder"

Both of these online steps must be completed in order to be considered enrolled in HomeBRIDGE.

If you have questions regarding enrollment, contact Leslie.

OPT-IN TO ACELLUS OPT-IN TO ACELLUS

Acellus Charges

Students allotment accounts will be charged beginning the month of enrollment in Acellus.

The cost for Acellus is $79 per month per student regardless of the day of enrollment in Acellus.

If your student is not going to use Acellus in July, request in August or whatever month your student will begin. The account will be charged whether your student is attending classes or not.

When your student is finished with their classes, notify HomeBRIDGE so that we can take steps to stop the charges. Acellus is charged on a per month basis,; it doesn't matter how many days it is used in that month.

NOTE: If the student withdraws from HomeBRIDGE prior to the end of October the student/family will be required to repay any costs related to Acellus.

How to Opt-In to Acellus Use

In order to avoid unwanted charges, HomeBRIDGE will need an "opt-in" request in order for students to work in Acellus. Please follow these steps to opt your student in to Acellus.

In order to opt in for Acellus use, your student will need to be registered for the 26-27 School year.

1) JSD and Brightways reregistration must be completed.

• Register in Brightways for the 26-27 school year.

• You would have received an email from "homebridge" regarding JSD's online re-registration and asking you to visit your family's enrollment portal to follow the steps of re-enrollment.
Re-enrollment must be completed. Questions about this? Contact Leslie
• See the announcement above regarding re-enrolling in HomeBRIDGE

2) Request to Opt-in to Acellus by emailing homebridge@juneauschools.org.

• The subject line of this email should read:

"(your student's lastname, firstname) - Acellus Opt In.

NOTE: you need to use your student's given name as found in powerschool.

• If the subject line is anything else, it's possible the email will get lost in the multitude of emails received by that account.
