ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL

Our doors open at 7:00 am. Breakfast is served from 7:00 am - 7:20 am each morning. All students should enter through the cafeteria when arriving between 7:00 am and 7:20 am. Students arriving after 7:20 am should enter through the main entrance of the school. Students arriving after 7:30 am are considered tardy, and an adult must come in the school to sign the student in.

We begin dismissing bus students at 2:25 pm and car riders and walkers are dismissed at 2:30 pm. We ask that parents remain in their vehicles and a staff member will assist students getting in cars. All car riders should be picked up by 2:45 pm. If it is after 2:45 pm, a parent will need to come into the school to sign the student out. For walkers, a staff member will walk the students to the corner of 46th Avenue and 31st Street.

FOOD AND TREATS

The Gulfport School District has made a commitment to the health and well-being of our students by the elimination of unhealthy snacks and treats brought to school. We ask that no sugary or nutritionally-questionable snacks be brought to school for birthdays, special events, parties, etc. Also, if any healthy treats are planned for special class events, please understand that they will only be allowed to be delivered and served during non-instructional time. Please contact the school if you feel a snack or food item might be questionable.
