Jaguar Journal

Dear Jacob Parents/Guardians,

We hope everyone has been enjoying a safe and relaxing summer so far! Many of our students have attended summer school and the JCPS Success League while many of our teachers have also been working those same programs. As a Jacob Jaguar, the learning never stops! : )

School starts in only 4 days and we can not wait to see all of our smiling faces back with us!

There are several dates and pieces of information I wanted to share with everyone to help you prepare for the start of the school year. Please read this newsletter in it's entirety to receive all of the information you need.

If you are ever in need of assistance or support, please don't hesitate to reach out to us here at the school at 485-8271.

Sincerely,

Principal Waggoner

Come join us on Tuesday, August 5th, 3:30-6:00 for our 2025-2026 Back to School Orientation! Every family will receive a "passport" of stations to visit in order to get necessary information, complete paperwork, get school supplies, and earn prizes! Everyone will get to learn who their new teacher will be, get their car rider number, verify bus stop information, and meet our staff! Your children will even get to enjoy Popsicles on the Playground sponsored by the PTA!

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

Starting this school year, ANY transportation changes, MUST be submitted through the Transportation Changes Google Form. Phone calls to the school will no longer be accepted to change your child's transportation.

Thanks to our PTA President, Sharika Anderson, and Spiritwear Direct, we have a whole new set of designs ready to go for the 25-26 school year! They are also offering FREE SHIPPING for the month of July! ONE MORE THING.....a percentage of sales will go to our PTA as a fundraiser at the end of the school year! Therefore, the more people purchase, the more our PTA will earn throughout the school year!
