Thank you your Help for Battle of the Books
We would like to congratulate our Rocky Point Elementary School Battle of the Books team for their hard work and effort as they read 16 books in preparation for the district Battle of the Books competition that took place on Friday. We are all very proud of you! Additionally, we are very appreciative of all volunteers that helped make this event successful as it was hosted at our school.
Friday, February 14th is an optional teacher workday.
Pender County School Reassignment Request
In an effort to accommodate the educational preferences of families in the Pender County School District, officials have now opened the reassignment request period for the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year, allowing parents ample time to consider alternative educational options for their children. Parents who wish to enroll their students in a Pender County school outside of their designated zone, with the exception of Pender Early College and Pender Innovative Learning Academy, are encouraged to participate in the application process. Due to schools in the Topsail and Surf City school districts being over capacity, no new applications will be accepted. The deadline for submitting reassignment requests is March 31, 2025.
2025-2026 Pender County Preschool Program
