Wellness Tips for Finals Week!
1. STAY ACTIVE ~take short breaks to stretch or go for a walk. Try a quick workout to recharge your energy!
2. GET ENOUGH SLEEP~aim for 7-8 hours of sleep each night to boost memory and focus. Avoid all-nighters-they do more harm than good!
3. STAY HYDRATED & EAT WELL~keep a water bottle with you while studying. fuel your brain with healthy snacks like nuts, fruit, or yogurt instead of sugary treats.
4. ORGANIZE~use a planner to map out your finals schedule and prioritize tasks. Break your study sessions into manageable chunks (e.g., 50-minute study, 10-minute break).
5. PRACTICE SELF-CARE~take a moment to meditate, practice deep breathing or listen to calming music.
6. CONNECT W/ FRIENDS~study in groups to stay motivated or catch up over coffee. Social breaks can help relieve stress and boost morale.
7. LIMIT DISTRACTIONS~put your phone on "do not disturb" while studying. Create a dedicated study space that's tidy and comfortable.
8. CELEBRATE YOUR WINS~cross tasks off your list as you complete them-it's satisfying! Reward yourself after finishing exams with a fun activity or treat!
