Celebrating Our First Week of School!
Charette High: Kicking Off the School Year Strong!
Dear Charette Families,
We’re off to a wonderful start to the 2025–26 school year! The first week was full of energy, laughter, and learning. From reconnecting with old friends to meeting new ones, our students are already showing us how much they will accomplish this year.
A Message from Dr. Lyons😁
Dear Families of Charette Charter High School,
Welcome to a new school year at Charette! We are so glad you are part of our school community. At Charette, we believe every student has the ability to learn, grow, and succeed. Our work is guided by values of creating community, honor ourselves and others, and strive to succeed. We are committed to giving every student the tools, support, and high-quality teaching they need to achieve their goals.
We know that when families, students, and staff work together, we are stronger. Your partnership is an important part of your child’s success, and we look forward to celebrating their progress and accomplishments with you. This year, we will challenge our students to reach higher, believe in themselves, and never give up—because we believe in them.
Together, let’s make this a year full of learning, growth, and opportunity for every student.
With gratitude,
Nicole Lyons

a necessary food service for students and to promote permanent habits of good nutrition. The school has qualified as a 100% Community Enrollment Program since 2024. This means that every student is provided the opportunity to Breakfast and Lunch at no cost.
Breakfast: served between 8:10 and 8:30 every morning in the lunchroom
Lunch: is served during four sittings each day, one for each grade level (9th , 10th , 11th and 12th )
We welcome feedback on the menu, and any information specific to your child’s special dietary or
allergy needs. Please contact the school at 401-270-1183, or email to info@charettepvd.org.
Every day counts! Did you know that missing just 2 days of school each month can add up to nearly a month of lost learning time by the end of the year?
We’re asking for your partnership in making sure your student comes to school on time, every day. Together, we can set them up for success! If your child needs to be absent please inform our Main Office by Calling 401-270-1183 or Texting our School Cell at 401-601-4414.
🏫 “A Look at Your Student’s School Day
A Day at Charette: Core Classes, Advisory, and Electives
At Charette High School, every student is enrolled in four core classes — English, Math, Science, and History. Students also have access to a variety of electives, including Wellness, Health, Financial Literacy, World Language, Art, and ILP (College and Career Exploration).
All students take Urban Planning, which is the heart of our charter and a central focus of our school, helping them learn to analyze, design, and improve communities. Each student is also assigned a Mentor in their Advisory, providing guidance, support, and a trusted adult to help them set goals and navigate the school year.
